Course B refers to the school’s Complete course, which is the traditional group format. All learners on this course are assigned to a group that most corresponds to their current Italian language ability, which is done via a placement test that takes place at the beginning of the course.
If students cannot be placed in an appropriate group due to a lack of students at their level, then they may receive an adapted form of private tuition, in exchange for reducing the total number of class hours.

The Intensive course consists of 20 lessons every week, at 45 minutes each.
You will be able to jump into the course on practically any Monday of the year unless you are an absolute beginner, in which case there are openings for new spots fortnightly.

The majority of class time is dedicated to conversation and speaking in Italian, however, students on this course can still expect to cover all the most important points of traditional language learning that are related to the study of grammar and vocabulary.
You will use a course book throughout your studies, which is already included in the fees for signing up. The experienced and motivated teachers will also provide alternative and exciting ways of engaging with the Italian language, whether it be through authentic texts, song lyrics, video clips, and many other techniques.
Apart from all this, you’ll also have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities, allowing you to make new connections with your peers while using and improving your Italian.
Bildungsurlaub Course
Intensive Course
The Intensive Italian course from Scuola Leanardo da Vinci at their Milan location offers learners the chance to level up their Italian language skills through 20 professionally prepared lessons every week. The classes take place every weekday, and have a maximum of 14 participants per group - so you won’t be overwhelmed by large groups, and instead find yourself in a medium-size format that allows you to participate easily.
A preference is given to conversation practice, but even so, you can expect to be exposed to significant amounts of material and activities that are designed to work on your reading, writing, listening, and vocabulary expansion.
The course does use a coursebook, and this will be included in the fees you pay while signing up. Your teachers at this school will make use of a variety of activities to make their classes as engaging as possible - so you will not simply be working from the book. Every group is invited to take part in extracurricular activities in Milian, usually in the afternoons or evenings. These outings are intended to get students out in the real world having fun while using and improving their Italian language skills.
G8 Standard

Attendance must be at least one week in duration, with a limit of 12 weeks before students have to enrol in one of the longer courses.
A wide variety of up-to-date authentic material is used in class, thus giving students valuable information about modern-day Italian culture and society at the same time as developing students’ linguistic and communicative skills. The teachers have been selected from special training courses, and they are further required to take part in teacher education seminars every month.
General Italian
Intensive Course
The Intensive Italian course from Scuola Leonardo da Vinci is the main offering among their programme options and involves taking 4 classes every day (20 per week). Most of the lessons’ focus is directed towards verbal communication, meaning you will spend a significant amount of time speaking in class and resolving any issues you have with pronunciation or listening skills. Even so, the elements of Italian language study that are related to vocabulary and grammar are still given their due importance.
This academy believes that play is just as important as work, and for that reason, they organise extracurricular activities for students to enjoy in the afternoons and evenings. These might involve taking day trips to museums, wine cellars, cultural discussion groups, and more. Through these activities, the school wants to show you that learning a language is much more than just learning in the classroom, and instead is all about having fun using your new or expanding knowledge of the language.
